Life Life has been very adventurous & challenging, but none-the-less a learning process. To wrap it up in a Nutshell. I joined the military in Jan 1991 and retired fully in June 2002. I was diagnoised with Hodgkins Disease. (Retired...Yikes! Do I look 65 to you? Don't answer that - smile). I am happy to say...knock on wood, I have been in remission for 14 years. My husband (Ron) and I are going to be celebrating our 15th weddng anniversary this May and I am the mom of three boys. (Yes, I said three boys...if you count my huzbe. Those are my three boys in the above photo). Today, I enjoyed the retired life for about ten years, but got board when the kids when to school full-time and attended their after-school sports programs. So I made a big decision to go for a dream. I wanted to pursue a passion that I have had since the third grade. Hold onto you hats folks - I went back to work for the Annapolis Police Department. (Lovin' It) I enjoy working with the officers and the citizens of Annapolis, as a Neighborhood Watch Coordinator, Public Information Officer, and my newly appointed position, as of 2/07 - Coordinator of the Victim Witness Unit. I am also an instructor and lesson plan writer, to educated Officers and Citizens on two very controversal topics - Domestic Violence & "Stalking" - What you should know. In addition to my already busy schedule as a mom and full-time employee I also instruct the Neighborhood Watch Block Captains Training and Cab Watch programs once a month after working hours.
